October 28-November 1: Environment and Microfinance, During the SEEP Annual General Meeting, GreenMicrofinance facilitated the first focus group on the the interface of microfinance and the environment, Washington, DC

November 12-13: The Microcredit Summit +5, Green Microfinance organized a panel, which included representatives from CIDA, Conservation International, and World Bank. The topic was How MFIs and Their Clients Can Have a Positive Impact on the Environment?, 2000 delegates from 100 countries attended. This was the first major conference in which GMf participated, New York, NY
